Plastisol or water-based ink on your shirts
Plastisol sits up on the fabric. It prints brighter and holds fine detail better. Water-based sinks into the cotton and stays soft enough that you stop noticing the print is there.
Most shops default to whichever one they are set up for. We pick based on the garment and the hand-feel you want, and we tell you which one your artwork actually suits before it goes on press.
Halftone and simulated process t-shirt printing
Photographic artwork and many-color designs get separated in-house into halftone screens. That is the difference between a print that reproduces your artwork and one that approximates it.

Color separations and screens made in our Miami studio
Screens are burned in-house, so separations never wait on an outside supplier. That is the main reason a twelve-piece run turns around in 5-7 business days rather than two weeks.
It also means a change between colorways is a studio decision, not a re-order.
Retail-ready shirts: neck labels, hang tags and bagging
Printed neck labels in place of the manufacturer tag. Hang tags, folding and poly bagging on request.
If the run is going straight onto a shelf or into a webstore, it can leave the studio ready to sell.
Who we print for
Most of what leaves this studio falls into four groups. Clothing brands running small drops and needing the print to look retail. Schools and universities ordering club, team and spirit wear. Businesses putting staff in uniforms, polos and workwear that has to survive a wash cycle. And events — races, festivals, conferences, fundraisers — where a date is fixed and the shirts have to be there before it.
Bands and nonprofits round out the rest. Twelve pieces is the minimum either way, so a school club and a national brand get the same press, the same inks and the same person checking the first pull off the platen.
T-shirts, hoodies and what else we print on
Tees are the bulk of it — ring-spun cotton for softness, heavier 6oz cotton when the shirt needs to last, tri-blends when the drape matters more than the price. Beyond tees we run hoodies, crewnecks, long sleeves, tanks, tote bags and koozies through the same presses.
You can supply your own blanks or we can source them. If you are undecided, tell us what the shirt is for and roughly what you want to spend, and we will put two or three options in front of you rather than defaulting to whatever is cheapest on the shelf. Caps, polos and anything that needs thread instead of ink goes through custom embroidery in Miami in the same studio.
Minimums, pricing and turnaround
The minimum is 12 pieces per design. Price moves on three things: how many pieces, how many ink colors, and where the print sits on the garment. A one-color front print on 24 tees is the cheapest thing we do; a four-color front and back on 12 tri-blends is the most expensive per piece. There is no setup fee buried at the end of the quote.
Most orders ship in 5-7 business days from the moment you approve the art — not from the moment you email us. Screens are burned here, so that clock does not depend on an outside supplier. If you have a hard date, say so up front and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible before you pay anything.
Custom t-shirt printing FAQs
Do you have a minimum order? Yes, 12 pieces per design. Below that, screen printing costs more per shirt than it is worth to you.
Can you match a specific color? We mix to Pantone. Send the code, or send something physical and we will match it on press.
What file should I send? Vector is ideal — AI, EPS or PDF. A high-resolution PNG usually works. If all you have is a screenshot or a logo off a website, our apparel design services can redraw it properly before it goes near a screen.
Do you print on garments I supply? Yes. Count on a small percentage of spoilage on any print run and bring a few extra.
